In the Dorfstrasse there was a great deal of decoration, volunteers with refreshments and so on, a 30.25 kilometre passing-point, and a lot of folks with a great deal more energy than I have in the middle of the day! They started off in Interlaken, some way away and down below us, and run on to their destination at the Eigergletscher, passing through our village as an important mark on the run.
